What was the client’s brief?
To restore the grade two listed Georgian farmhouse to its former glory, adapt the property to work for a modern family with young children. work alongside the listed buildings officers to ensure the property maintains its character and identity but is tastefully restored. remove and replace out of date services which are not effectively working.
What did we do?
We restored the property from the chimneys right down to the cellar using lime based plaster, restored where possible sash windows, installed wood burners, new heating system, new electrics, new water main. three new replacement bathrooms, new kitchen. submitted & obtained planning permission for garage, and much much more the whole house is now warm comfortable and functioning as a great family home.
